What’s happening to the Green Party?
What’s happening to the Green Party?
The New Zealand
political scene is surely changing when a former diplomat
becomes a Green Party member. His opinion, and that of his
party, is that relationships with other countries are not
“foreign affairs” but “global affairs”.
However,
this is consistent with a long-held Green view that
economics, trade, environment, and population must be
treated, not as separate disciplines, but as mutually
interactive factors in global affairs.
The guest this
week In Conversation with Noel Cheer on Triangle Television
is the Green Party Global Affairs spokesperson, Dr. Kennedy
Graham.
