High Risk Sex Offender to Be Released
High Risk Sex Offender to Be Released
1st March 2016
"The fact the report says "future victims" gives me the shivers , they know he will offend again yet he is going to be released!" Jess McVicar
Ronald van Der
Plaat ,82 is set to be released from prison in May. The
parole board have noted in their assessment he is a medium
high risk of reoffending.
'What an absolute disgrace'
says Jess Mcvicar of sensible sentencing trust.
'This man shows no signs of remorse, he has done absolutely no rehabilitation courses while in prison, why on earth should he have a right to freedom.'
'This again is a failure in our justice system, it is basically setting up another victim for him!'
The boards report says future victims are likely to be female children of solo mums whom he will befriend the mother and get their trust then go on to abuse the child.
Jess says, "This is actually sickening to the stomach , the boards psychology report clearly says he is likely to reoffend! Why on earth should he be allowed on our streets again. He still denies any offenses against his daughter even with all the proof , which clearly shows he is sick and perverted."
"And that he thinks the sexual abuse and harm he committed on his own daughter is a normal act!"
Van Der Plaat kept his daughter as a sex slave for 23 years while committing heinous sex acts upon her.
Jess says "The fact the report says "future victims" gives me the shivers , they know he will offend again yet he is going to be released!"
His release conditions will be GPS tracking and he will be forbidden from associating with persons under 16 years of age.
"This will not help , we have proof the GPS tracking is not 100% effective and being told not to go near persons under 16 year olds will not matter to him , he has already broken this condition on an earlier release.
I can not stress enough that this man should not be released into our society. He is a huge threat.!
Every mother will be living in fear because our justice system has once again failed us."
