Police and Court (Your Legal Rights) Workshop
Auckland Disability Law (ADL) and ImagineBetter are
pleased to offer a Police and Court (Your Legal Rights)
workshop on 24 May 2016. Tuesday 24 May - 12:30pm-2:30pm.

• At one time or another, you may come into
contact with the Police and the Courts. Do you know what
your rights are when dealing with the Police and Courts?
Come along to find out what your rights are. This workshop
will help you deal with the police and courts in a confident
way.

workshop by phoning (with your name and contact number if
you reach the answer phone) or by emailing info@adl.org.nz with the following
information:
• Name, email address, contact phone number, date and title of the workshop you wish to attend, and access requirements.
• This session is free. Tea and coffee will be served during registration and networking time, which is between 12:30-1pm. The workshop welcome starts at 1pm.
Access Requirements
• Venue: CCS Disability Action (Kauri Room), 14 Erson Ave, Royal Oak. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
• If you require an NZSL interpreter to be booked, please advise us by Tuesday 17 May 2016.
• Please let us know if you require written resources ahead of time for your braille reader.
• If you need workshop material adapted for your understanding, you are welcome to bring a support person, caregiver, family member or agency with you.
• Please let us know if you have any other access requirements.
