Hamilton City Council preliminary elections results
The 2016 Hamilton City Council preliminary elections results indicate Andrew King been provisionally elected as Hamilton’s new Mayor by 14 votes.
Andrew King received 8676 votes, Paula Southgate received 8662 and Chris Simpson received 6331 votes.
The following councillors have been
provisionally elected.

The final results will
include all valid special votes and will be released
onThursday 13 October. Once the final results are available
on 13 October, a candidate may request a recount of the
voting numbers if the vote is close.
