Ministers statement nothing but arrogance!

"Minister Parata showed her total arrogance and lack of understanding of education and how schools actually function, with one sentence" states Pat Newman President Te Tai Tokerau Principals Association.

When backing down from Global Funding, alias Bulk Funding she stated the sector wasnt ready for it, as if we were lacking in thinking ability. A put down of the 1000s hard working thinking teachers.

"The problem Parata had," says Pat Newman, "is not that we were not ready but simply we could see through the Ministers flim flam and fully understood its implications".

Mr Newman continued" the reign!! of the current Minister, and the word reign is deliberately used, is full of examples of what she might consider tough decisions but in reality were decisions arrogantly made by one person against the knowledge and advice of those that actually do the work. This is just another example of her modus operandi!"
