Rebels To Trust ACT
New Zealand President of Prebble's Rebels, Clint Heine, announced today that the Rebels will be urging young people to give ACT their party vote.
Mr Heine said that "today is the start of a campaign which will decide New Zealand's political future, not just for the next three years, but into the next millennium."
"The choice we face is whether we want to live in a country where people can be unashamed of achievement and excellence, or whether we want to punish intelligence until those with talent flee punitive taxes and state control."
The voice of youth was being heard loud and clear within the ACT party, said Clint Heine.
"Willie Martin in Dunedin South, Dan King in Mt Albert and other young ACT candidates throughout the country are excellent examples of youth leading the way in New Zealand politics."
Mr Heine also said that Michael Cullen's 'challenge' to ACT was the sound of a political party which is divided, desparate and dying.
"Dr Cullen is right in just one thing - it is truth time. The truth is that people will not vote for the parties promising to almost double income tax. People who do not like their lives controlled by government will not vote for more of it. ACT and National will be in Government on November 28, and the truth is that Labour and their Alliance comrades will still be on the opposition."
Mr Heine said that "Prebble's Rebels are telling youth everywhere to cast their vote for the party of fresh new ideas, the party who will give us control over our own lives. The Rebels will vote for positive change."
"Prebble's Rebels across the country will trust ACT."
