AUCKLAND, May 9, 2001 Internet Integrator, gen-i has appointed Paul McDowell- Hook as its new Chief Financial Officer.

Paul comes from Glaxo Wellcome where he spent 13 years, most recently as Finance and IT Director for Glaxo Wellcome Australia and before that Finance and Business Development Director for Glaxo Wellcome NZ.

gen-i Chief Executive Garth Biggs said Paul brings with him strong financial and strategic planning expertise.

“gen-i is a rapidly growing company and Paul will help us consolidate our gains and focus that growth.

“In a year where gen-i has secured some of the largest IT contracts won by a New Zealand company, it is important that we support our financial growth with sound business systems,” Garth said.

Paul, who was born in England, has worked in the United States, United Kingdom, Asia and Australia. In addition to his financial qualifications, Paul has an engineering degree.

“gen-i is a substantial, successful company, showing strong growth both in the domestic market, as well as expanding into Australia. It’s an exciting time to join the company,” Paul said.
