PeopleSoft Announces Beta Program For PeopleSoft 8 CRM

Customers Realising Benefits of Next Generation CRM Solution

Auckland, 24th May 2001 – PeopleSoft today announced the PeopleSoft 8 Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Beta Customer Program, which provides early access to PeopleSoft’s new CRM solution. A select group of customers were chosen from a cross-section of industries, global and regional organisations, and small- to medium-sized enterprises.

Participating customers include ABN AMRO Bank, Carreker Corporation, CGI, Dynegy Inc., FedEx, France Telecom, National FFA Organization, and Polycom.

“This program marks another milestone in the on-time delivery of the industry’s first pure internet CRM solution. PeopleSoft 8 CRM’s first customers across the globe are already experiencing the benefits from this next generation CRM solution – it’s an extremely exciting time for PeopleSoft,” commented Andrew Barkla, Vice President PeopleSoft Asia Pacific.

“We needed an internet solution to manage our growing customer base,” said Lori Faris, senior vice president, Infrastructure Services at Carreker Corporation (Nasdaq: CANI), a consulting and financial software solutions provider. “PeopleSoft 8 CRM will provide Carreker Corporation with real-time visibility into our customer interactions and a 360 degree view of our customers. This will give us immediate insight into our customer relationships, allowing us to increase overall efficiencies.”

Utilising the benefits of pure internet delivery, the PeopleSoft 8 CRM Beta Customer Program is supported through a browser and hosted by the PeopleSoft eCenter. PeopleSoft Global Services will provide product support and onsite consulting, and PeopleSoft University will provide education on both the technology and application training.
