Peoplesoft CRM Initiative For Communications Industry
Web-based Integrated Billing Solution Can Provide Rapid ROI

Auckland -- June 7, 2001 – PeopleSoft Inc. (Nasdaq: PSFT) and KPMG Consulting Inc. (Nasdaq: KCIN), one of the world's largest consulting companies, today announced a billing-integration solution for the communications industry -- PeopleSoft Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for Communications. The solution is currently shipping, with KPMG Consulting providing implementation services and support.

PeopleSoft CRM for Communications gives communications service providers an expansive view into their most vital IT network -- the Operations Support Systems/Business Support Systems (OSS/BSS). PeopleSoft and KPMG Consulting are integrating PeopleSoft CRM with the disparate OSS/BSS, allowing managers to easily view enterprise-wide information from a variety of perspectives.
