Aon Australia Drives Worldwide ‘Client-First’ Culture
with PeopleSoft CRM
In Australia PeopleSoft’s major deal
with Aon, Australia’s largest insurance broker, risk
management and consulting group, will underpin the company’s
client-centric culture change program with their recently
launched pure internet Client Relationship Management (CRM)
solution. The implementation will see Australia setting
best practice as the company prepares for a worldwide
rollout. Being implemented by Aon and PeopleSoft Consulting,
Aon plans to go live with core CRM functionality by the end
of this year, and their EPM solutions by the middle of 2002.
The company will also be deploying PeopleSoft’s Portal suite
including the Customer, Supplier and Employee portals, to
collate and present information and systems in a friendly,
intuitive way.
Tax Filing Process streamlined with
PeopleSoft 8 CRM
Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC),
through a subcontract with Logicon, selected PeopleSoft 8
CRM for use in the US Government’s Internal Revenue
Service’s (IRS) modernisation program. CSC will initially
use PeopleSoft 8 CRM to help the IRS manage relationships
with third-party tax preparation and other tax
administration partner organisations. The overall objective
of the project will be to increase taxpayer and third-party
satisfaction and electronic filing by reducing
non-electronic touchpoints with the IRS. PeopleSoft was
selected over several competitors based upon CSC’s
evaluation of PeopleSoft as the best value provider of its
software in the IRS modernisation architecture. The value of
the contract for PeopleSoft 8 CRM is nearly $10 million over
the next year.
