AUCKLAND, November 06, 2001 - Internet Integrator, gen-i has announced the appointment of Peter Finch as General Manager Infrastructure.

Peter joins gen-i from Telecom where he held the position of General Manager IS Infrastructure Delivery.

The role of General Manager Infrastructure involves the management of gen-i’s Field Force, Project Management and Infrastructure service delivery groups.

Peter has graduate and post-graduate qualifications in computer science and brings 25 years of IT experience to his role at gen-i. He started in the industry as a programmer and moved through application development into the broader professional services, infrastructure management, and then general management.

Peter’s experience encompasses both sides of the customer/supplier divide, and includes negotiation and implementation of New Zealand’s largest IT outsourcing contract for Telecom.
