Greetings from New Zealand's Information Network!

Bird chorus and notable pink blossom on the trees is an enchanting morning wake up! With the sun shining and cloudless blue sky above, it seems tourists and locals alike are sporting brighter smiles as Spring begins to nip at the heels of Winter!

Like many winter Kiwi’s, we have been snuggled up inside clocking up serious time on our computer and the Network continues to grow as new and updated information is constantly added. Our immigration site at www.nz-immigration.co.nz has received some TLC and we have introduced excellent new immigration resources for those considering making NZ home. Read our recently added New Zealand Life section to learn about social values, events and leisure. From simple things such as the National Anthem, Kiwi slang and travel onto important facts concerning culture shock, guides to Maori protocol, employment relations and legal matters - this segment covers it all.

The New Zealand government for immigration obviously thinks we provide pretty good resources! The government provides The 2003 Settlement Pack for new migrants to New Zealand. www.newzealandnz.co.nz is the only non-government Website listed in the Highlights for New Migrants section with a special mention regarding the information our Website provides on National Parks at www.newzealandnz.co.nz/national-parks/ - a well deserved pat on the back for our Network!

We haven’t won many awards at New Zealand’s Information Network, as we prefer to focus on enhancing our site and services for clients and Website visitors. This leaves little time for self-promotion but in 2001 we still managed to win an award in the Best Kiwiana Sites section, this included a write up of our Network in the 2001 Top 500 Collector’s Issue of Netguide.

The 2003 Netguide Awards are now under way.
