CUISINE AND NZ HOUSE & GARDEN SCOOP INTERNATIONAL AWARDS


Cuisine website and NZ House & Garden magazine have received international recognition at the World Food Media Awards held in Adelaide last night.

http://www.cuisine.co.nz collected the much coveted gold ladle in the Best Food and/or Drink website category. This is the first international accolade the website, featuring the best of food, wine and good living in New Zealand, has received since its launch in December 2000. Previously http://www.cuisine.co.nz has been awarded Best New Site of the Year at the NetGuide Awards 2001, Website of the Year (2001) by the Magazine Publishers Association and Best Website of the Year at the 2002 NetGuide Awards.

NZ House & Garden was awarded a silver ladle for its ‘Entertaining’ section in the Best Food and/or Drink Section in a Magazine category. This is the second consecutive World Food Media Awards at which NZ House & Garden has picked up a silver ladle. The magazine, celebrating the homes, lifestyle and creativity of New Zealanders, has also been the recipient of Qantas Media Awards and MPA Awards.

The World Food Media Awards recognise excellence across a broad range of publishing on food and drink including books, magazines, television, CD-ROMS, internet websites and photography.

The large international panel of judges featured food and wine experts including Donna Hay and Margaret Fulton from Australia and Rick Stein from the United Kingdom.
