Silent One Secures Financial Times Contract
Wellington knowledge management software company, Silent One Ltd, announced today it had secured a deal with UK media giant The Financial Times.
TriCoStar, Silent One Ltd’s reseller in the UK, has deployed SilentOne’s knowledge management system into one of The Financial Times’ major international divisions, which manages their international information feeds.
Silent One Chief Executive Peter Hammond said it represents a significant opportunity for the New Zealand company.
“The contract with the Financial Times is the second sale that we have clinched in the UK this year with TriCoStar, the other being Diabetes UK, and is an important building block towards achieving further successes in the UK and European markets.”
“The internationally recognised Financial Times is a well respected and influential media organisation and we are delighted to be working within them to improve their knowledge management system,” said Mr Hammond.
“The UK is a competitive market to break into and this sale gives a strong endorsement for our totally New Zealand developed product and I am delighted with what has been achieved,” said Chairman Pete Yarrall.
SilentOne provides the ability to have a managed repository of electronic documents, with full version control, rich metadata, document-level security, workflow and lifecycle management.
SilentOne integrates with Microsoft Office, enabling users to create, share and manage documents from within Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. The design of the product provides for easy integration with third party applications and a cross platform version is scheduled for the new year.
Silent One Ltd is a partly owned subsidiary of the ECN Group of New Zealand Post.
