The $34,040 prize equates to 18,000 euro.
The competition of ideas was organised by the Spanish Ornithological Society (not Organisation), BirdLife International’s partner NGO in Spain.
Carles Carboneras is a seabird conservation officer for both organisations. His name is Carles, not Carlos.
