A Revolution In Digital Signage & Target Marketing

For Immediate Release
Synergetix Limited, Auckland, New Zealand 20th April 2004

New Zealand sparks off a revolution in Digital Signage and Target Marketing

Synergetix, the Auckland based software house specialising in products for the Retail and Tourism markets are revolutionising the way tourism operators and retailers promote and market their products. Synergetix are members of the NZ Government Hi Growth initiative. This identified the 100 New Zealand based companies with the greatest potential to contribute significantly to the export market over the next few years.

Two new products, Wallflower 'Dynamic Digital Signage' and STRIPES for Target Marketing have been enthusiastically received both in NZ and overseas.

Digital Signage products have slowly been adopted by NZ companies over the last year. Primarily in shopping malls and similarly sized locations the adoption has been slow due to a combination of the high initial cost and NZ's comparatively poor broadband internet facilities.

Synergetix have not only reduced the initial investment costs but also developed products able to be installed free-standing or using networks and the internet.

The cost of Wallflower enables real estate and travel agents as well as all similarly sized organisations to at last be able to afford Digital Signage. Retailers and motels or hotels can also install Digital Displays at their counters using their existing computer hardware enhanced with a second display screen.

A multi-banded display can be used allowing one display unit to carry up to 3 independent message streams.

Over the next few months installations will be appearing throughout New Zealand. Negotiations are underway with major signage distributors in international markets to distribute Wallflower. The excitement, both locally and internationally, has surprised Synergetix as to date the only exposure for the product has been via the Synergetix website. We did not realise what a significant development this was in Signage until the enquiries started coming in from far and wide.

Wallflower will be present on several stands at the forthcoming TRENZ (Tourism Rendezvous New Zealand) in Christchurch in May. This is the largest trade show for the tourism industry in New Zealand and attracts many visitors from overseas. Synergetix are looking forward to significant leads from this event.

Synergetix have long specialised in assisting companies in Target Marketing and Analysis. This experience has led to the development of STRIPES. Installed either free-standing, using a network or the internet STRIPES allows users to develop and monitor marketing campaigns using their existing and prospective customer base.

It has never been so easy to build long-term relationships with customers as it is with STRIPES. Designed both for organisations experienced in target marketing and for those who thought it too complex and difficult STRIPES has generated intense interest both locally and overseas.

Many companies are aware of target marketing but have been unable to benefit from it due to the high cost of suitable software and the manual processes involved.

For the first time target marketing is affordable. STRIPES can be installed at very low cost and provides a great deal of automation to reduce operational effort allowing users to concentrate on developing customer relationships.
