Cardrona Launches Virtual Terrain Park

http://www.cardrona.com/park.htm,

Freestylers heading to Cardrona can experience the buzz from afar with the advent of Cardrona’s new interactive terrain park pages on its redesigned web site.

Cardrona will have two terrain trails for 2004 allowing riders and skiers of all abilities to enjoy the thrill of the big air and rail. The Heavy Metal Trail is over 1.5km in length with massive features. Rails are a minimum of 7m long with the Groovestar Dr Evil measuring a massive 14m long and 3m high. The table tops range from 11m to 17m guaranteeing huge air. The Playzone Trail is shorter with smaller features and the perfect place to introduce mind and body to the freestyle adrenalin rush.

By rolling the mouse over each of the features at http://www.cardrona.com/park.htm, riders can see the dimensions of each feature, together with action photography of boarders or skiers hitting the rail or table top in question.

Both trails drop down underneath Cardrona’s new high-speed quad chair lift, the Whitestar Express, providing not only excellent access but also great viewing on the journey back to the top.
