UK marketing expert joins Bayer CropScience
Bayer CropScience has appointed Neil Waddingham to a new marketing manager role covering broad acre crops such as cereals, maize and pasture.
He will also be looking after two significant new fungicide launches later this year; building on the successful launch in 2005 of the fungicide Proline®; and evaluating future options for the pasture market.
Neil is from the UK where he was Bayer CropScience’s campaign manager for combinable crops and responsible for several successful product launches.
He has worked in the industry for 27 years, initially as a field trials office and an agronomist before moving into the sales and marketing area.
His education background includes a BSc in applied botany and microbiology from Brunel University, London.
Neil has briefly worked in New Zealand before in 2002 when he supported the launch of the strobilurin fungicide Twist®, a product he had previously successfully launched in the UK.
He will be based in Bayer New Zealand’s head office, located in Glenfield on Auckland’s North Shore.
