Symantec today announced that Acer Incorporated will now be shipping a Vista-compatible version of Norton Internet Security 2007. Currently, Acer ranks as the world’s number four PC brand with over 45 million Acer desktop and notebook PCs sold globally. Customers who purchase an Acer PC will now be able to use a 90-day trial of Norton Internet Security 2007 which is compatible with the Vista operating system. Acer customers now have the industry leading security solution suite to protect their PCs from spyware, viruses, worms and hackers entering their system while also leveraging antiphishing tools to safeguard against visiting fraudulent web sites. In addition, Norton Internet Security 2007 includes innovative technology that provides “zero hour” protection from the latest internet threats.

New Acer consumer PCs will be pre-installed with the latest version of Norton Internet Security 2007, which is compatible with the Microsoft Vista operating system.
