25 August 2008 - The new B130F Series Walkman from Sony's growing range of MP3 players has a new bass enhancement function for more impact from your choice of music. When combined with an in-built equalizer where you can also adjust playback to 'Jazz mode' for easy listening of soothing tones, Heavy mode for greater emphasis on high and low audio ranges, and 'Pop mode to enhance mid-range vocal tones, the new one-touch 'BASS' button enhances the bass in your music by approximately 100Hz so that you can enjoy more impact from the beat in a matter of seconds.

Released in New Zealand as 1GB and 2GB models, at RRP$59.95 and RRP$89.95 respectively, the B130F Series Walkman includes a range of other audio functions including MP3 playback, voice and FM radio recording, as well as up to 30 FM radio station presets. The 1GB model will hold approximately 650 songs and record up to 43 hours of music while the 2GB model can hold about 1,300 songs and record up to 88 hours of music.

'This model really delivers so many functions in an affordable all-in-one package.'
