Samsung launch Series 7 Full HD LCD TV

Samsung launch Series 7 Full HD LCD TV

The ultimate in High Definition with seamless connectivity

Samsung is proud to announce its next generation LCD TVs. With the trademark crystal design, the Samsung Series 7 is a Full High Definition LCD TV with an inbuilt Freeview HD Digital tuner. Samsung continues to deliver improved performance with stylish design. The Series 7 lets you connect your digital entertainment devices and enjoy them through your LCD.

Samsung's head of sponsorship and corporate marketing, Emma Keen, is happy their latest TVs provide a new offering to New Zealanders. "Samsung's commitment to technology, innovation and ease of use is demonstrated with the latest Series 7 TVs. Increasingly we will see our TVs becoming the hub of home entertainment, thanks to the Series 7 Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) technology this is now a simple, seamless experience."

With 1080p resolution & 100Hz technology, the screen delivers crystal clear images while maintaining a steady constant picture enabling movie buffs, sports fans and gamers the best possible viewing pleasure.

Developed to enrich lifestyles and enhance the entertainment experience, in addition to the inbuilt tuner, the Series 7 also delivers four key media solutions which demonstrate how Samsung is enabling viewers a converged viewing experience.

InfoLive, WISELINK pro, DLNA and the inbuilt Content Library are the features that set the Series 7 apart.

InfoLive is an innovation which allows the user to view and update news, weather and stock information while watching their favourite show or movie. InfoLive uses a constant connection with real-time RSS feeds and will be available from next year.

WISELINK pro makes it possible for viewers to show their favourite pictures, music, and even videos and movies to their friends through USB 2.0 connections. Showcasing holiday pictures to the rest of the family is effortless as Samsung strive to make the technology user-friendly.

The DLNA compatibility in the Series 7 allows the user to connect all their digital devices through their home network and then use the TV as the hub for their entertainment experience. By certifying products with the DLNA logo Samsung are ensuring that their TVs are built to be connected. So the entertainment or media files on your PC can be accessed through the remote control for your TV.

Ms Keen adds that the DLNA is an exciting development. "For years, the media in our living rooms has been isolated. DLNA links the different types of media we use, making it easier to enjoy the convergence of our connected entertainment devices," says Ms Keen.

The inbuilt Content Library stores a wide range of informational and entertainment content such as recipes, fitness programmes and games for children. It even includes a collection of art images so the TV can double as a framed masterpiece.

The Samsung Series 7 delivers an all encompassing entertainment package with a focus on functionality coupled with the stunning Samsung design story.
