Design and win with Sony Xplod

September 2009: Sony Xplod has a brand new car … and they’re giving budding designers the chance to make it look as it sounds and be in to win a car audio package to the value of $1600.

Anyone aged 12 or over can enter the competition, providing a sketch of the new Sony Xplod car - a 2009 Ford Focus XR5 Turbo - in the livery of their creation and submit it via www.sony.co.nz/xplod.

Entrants will be split into two categories; 12 – 16 years and 16 years and over. The overall winner will receive Sony Xplod equipment of their choice to the value of $1600, with installation into the winner’s nominated car by Rapid Radio.

The age group category winner that does not win the main prize will receive a runner up Sony prize pack.

The winner of the 12 – 16 year age group will also be awarded a Sony prize pack with equipment for their school.

Entries are open until 16 October 2009. Judges from Sony will select the overall winner who, along with having their design used on the Sony Xplod car, will win the Xplod products and installation.
