ARANZ Geo Attracts World Class CFO as Expansion Continues
ARANZ Geo, a world leader in the interpretation and visualisation of geological data for the mining, environmental, renewable energy and other geologically dependent industries, has appointed Rohit Selvaratnam as Chief Financial Officer.
Shaun Maloney, Chief Executive, ARANZ Geo, says, “We’re continuing to experience strong growth due in large part to increasing demand for our Leapfrog 3D geological modelling software. We’re strengthening our executive team to support further expansion and we are very pleased to have attracted someone of Rohit’s caliber.”
Rohit Selvaratnam has a strong commercial and strategic focus under-pinned by over 15 years’ senior experience in advisory and corporate roles in listed and private companies, in Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific and Asia. He has led and advised on over 30 M&A transactions, finance led capital projects and capital raising in New Zealand, North America and Asia. He has previously held key finance and strategy roles at Melbourne and Launceston Airports, Yellow Pages Group New Zealand and Telecom New Zealand.

Mr. Selvaratnam holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Wisconsin, USA and is a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (London) and CPA Australia. Rohit will be based at the ARANZ Geo’s headquarters and R&D Centre in Christchurch.
