Approval for horticultural fungicide
An Environmental
Protection Authority (EPA) decision-making committee has
approved an application by ISK New Zealand Ltd for a
fungicide that controls various fungal diseases in
horticultural crops.
The fungicide Ranman, which contains cyazofamid, will be used by commercial growers and contractors.
The committee thanked everyone who provides the information on which they based their decision. The hearing provided sufficient information for the decision-making committee to proceed with consideration of the application, leading to the approval decision. The decision is consistent with the purpose of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act.
