Sportsperson of the Year Awards 2011
Nominations are now open for The
Dominion Post Wellington Sportsperson of the Year Awards.
The Dominion Post Wellington Sportsperson of the Year Awards is organised by Sport Wellington and has become one of the most prestigious events on the Wellington sporting calendar.
The Awards, now in its 41st year, serve to acknowledge, promote, advocate and celebrate the contribution that sport makes to the community. Past luminaries who have won the supreme award include Michael Campbell, Martin Crowe, Waimarama Taumaunu, Nick Willis and Ricki Herbert.
The awards are your chance to highlight your codes successes in the recent year, and to put your code’s best and brightest in the spotlight, whether they are athletes, coaches, administrators or volunteers. There is no limit to the amount of nominations your code or club can make, so spread the word to your networks and cast the net wide.
