(SBU) PolChief and PolOff delivered subject demarche to
Amb. Pekka Oinonen, Deputy Director General of the MFA
Legal Department, and to Turkey Deskoff Sami Pirkkala on
September 27. Oinonen thanked us for sharing information
on Riza Altun and the PKK; agreed that Altun's flight
represented a disappointment; and assured us that our views
would be shared with other appropriate GOF authorities.
