Seven weapon caches sized, and 31 suspects apprehended, including 5 responsible for committing killing, kidnapping & car-jacking crimes

2 CF and 8 civilians wounded due to a VBIED blasts targeting CF in west of Baghdad. Seven weapon cache were found and cleared in North of Rutbah, Baqubah, Tikrit, Ramadi, An Nasiriyah: which consists of aircraft bomb, tank rounds, explosives, artillery rounds, fuses, mortars, cordless phone equipment, IED making materials, small arms, and small arms ammunition.

In Samarra, the combined forces captured 4 suspected terrorists as they recovered the body of a fifth terrorist who blew himself up while emplacing an IED. Iraqi army soldiers killed one and carried out the arrest of 4 gunmen following drive-by-shootings in Balad.

11 suspected terrorists were netted in a series of raids conducted by IA in Tahrir area, north central region. Combined forces arrested 4 targeted insurgents, including a local cell leader in Duluiyah.

Concerning reconstruction, construction of Women’s and Children’s Hospital project in Ramadi is at 55% with $5M. in which construction started 19 Feb 2005 and will be complete by 20 May 2006, This project considered as one of 28 projects programmed in Ramadi.
