Israeli Public Opinion on National Security 05-07
The People Speak: Israeli Public Opinion on National Security 2005-2007
I am pleased to inform you that INSS Memorandum No. 90, The People Speak: Israeli Public Opinion on National Security 2005-2007 by Yehuda Ben Meir and Dafna Shaked, is now available on line.
The study charts and analyzes the results of the three most recent public opinion surveys that have been conducted annually for over twenty years. The results of the survey completed in late March 2007 are of particular interest, as they reflect the impact of the past year's events, and specifically the Second Lebanon War, on Jewish Israeli public opinion. Presenting and analyzing the surveys' key findings, the authors offer a profile of the Jewish Israeli body politic and gauge where the Israeli collective is positioned on a host of issues, including possible agreements with the Palestinians, territorial exchange, settlements, the security fence, unilateralism, and the demographic challenge.
I hope you find this study of interest.
