The ambassador of the Republic of China, his Excellency George Chan informed Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare in a meeting at the Prime Minister's Office that the monies had been transacted to the Central Bank of Solomon Islands this morning.

The two other funding of SBD$5-million and SBD$367,500.00 would go towards the renovation of the National Referral Hospital's Operating theatre and a Solomon Islands Form Six and Seven Students' Computer Laboratory and Water Tanks Project.
