Essam Aoudhi: Martyred in defense of Qusra
Essam Kamal Abed Aoudhi, a 35 year old father of 8 children from the village of Qusra, went to see why his village was being attacked. With little space between himself and the Israeli military, Aoudhi was murdered by an army that condoned the violent settler raids that have plagued the Nablus region. Illegal Zionist settlers have invaded the village on a weekly basis, usually during the Muslim, Friday congregational prayer. Attacking villagers and burning their olive groves, Aoudhi fell victim to the extremism fed by the Israeli military. Read more>>
Hebron: “We have been waiting over sixty years for this”
The Jeber family of Al Khalil (Hebron) shares their long history in the rural region of Hebron, describing the changing geopolitical landscape that surrounds their family farm despite the various landmarks that mark their family’s history. Although accustomed to regular land seizures and demolitions, the Jeber family grows fearful as settler violence continues to rise throughout the West Bank, as Palestinians grow timid due to retaliation despite the prospects of a future Palestinian state. Fathers speak on the mass arrests in Hebron
The fathers of Palestinian youth arrested in the recent raid of Hebron by the Israeli military describe the night of their sons' arrest, while a local professor and friend to the families shares his beliefs as to why Israel raided Hebron following the Eilat attacks in late August. They discuss how the raids reflect on Israel’s history in detaining and arresting Palestinians, what motivates Israel to arrest especially youth, and most importantly all reflect how this is nothing out of the ordinary. Gaza: 29 years later, Palestinians march forward
