32 Prisoners Released In Honor Of A Convoy Of 11 Miles Of Smiles

A few days ago the convoy Miles of Smiles 11 arrived through the Rafah crossing in the southern Gaza strip, in solidarity with the Palestinian people who are suffering from the siege imposed on them for the last five years.
The convoy included 71 solidarity activists from several Arab and foreign countries, notably Britain and South Africa, Egypt, Jordan and others, bearing the name "Fraternity of Youth."
The convoy also included doctors who came to perform surgery in the Gaza strip, in addition to bringing medical aid.
The members of the convoy were young people, coming to seek a cultural exchange with the youth of the Gaza Strip
On the fifth and last day of Miles of Smiles 11, the Ministry of Interior and National Security decided to release 32 prisoners from its rehabilitation centers as an honoring of Miles of Smiles support to the Gaza strip and its people.
In this context the media office in the Ministry of Interior held a meeting with the members of convey to know their opinion in this regard.
Miss Razia Bamath , one of the worker in Al-Aqsa Foundation of South Africa, said "I came to Gaza with my son, who insists on supporting his Palestinian friends in the Gaza strip, and I am really happy to see our brothers and sisters in the Gaza strip with a wonderful smile, despite their suffering due to the siege imposed on them for more than five years, and the war carried out by Israeli troops three years ago."
She added the Palestinian also supported and appreciated her group, especially today when the Ministry of Interior decided to release 32 prisoners in their honour.
Miss Zakera Hassim, a housewife, said, "Really I am very happy to see the people of the Gaza strip and to share their steadfastness and will, that the people of Palestine is different from any other people."
She also expressed her pleasure at the Gaza Interior Ministry releasing 32 prisoners from its rehabilitation centers in their honour, saying this is an example of the generosity of Palestine people.
Bushca Hassim, the daughter of Zakera, said, "After I completed my university studies I decided to visit Gaza strip with my mother to support its people and to offer solidarity with them . And today the Ministry of Interior and national security in the Gaza strip is releasing the prisoners in honor of us, it is really nice," she added.
Attiya Kalla said, "I love the people of Palestine, and how they still can smile despite the pain and suffering, they really are a symbol of freedom and dignity.”
"When the Interior Ministry released the prisoners today, this was a great show of appreciation for us, so thank you," she added.
Mohammed Bamath, the son of Razia, said "I came with my mother to Palestine, and I love Palestine and my friends here, so I decided to share and take photos with them.”
