The Pacific Plan and its links to the development priorities of Tuvalu was discussed at the Pacific Plan Information Day held in Funafuti on 1st May 2012.
“The Pacific Plan Information Day was an initiative of the Government of Tuvalu for officials and other key stakeholders to learn more about the Pacific Plan and the Plan’s influence in strengthening the development priorities of Tuvalu. It is also an opportunity for Tuvalu to demonstrate their contribution and ownership of the Pacific Plan,” said Mr Feleti Teo, Acting Secretary General of the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat.
“The Pacific Plan Information Day was an opportunity for stakeholders to increase their understanding of the Plan’s purposes, its expected outcomes and more importantly the benefits the Plan offers to the people and Government of Tuvalu.
