NAZARETH (PIC)-- "B'Tselem" organization revealed that the occupation army provided security cover for Zionist settlers' attacks on Palestinian civilians.

The Zionist Organization stated that their cameras had filmed a video to document a settlers' attack on Palestinian citizens in Nablus city, northern West Bank, and that this video showed that IOF, which was present in the area of the incident, did not intervene to stop the settlers who were firing at Palestinians.

The Hebrew newspaper Maariv, in its Monday edition, stated that a confrontation had broken out last Saturday in Asira village southwest of Nablus, when a group of "Yitzhar" settlers started attacking the village and shooting at its population, without prior notice, as reported by the newspaper.

According to B'Tselem's reports, the video cameras of the organization, which documented the incident, showed that the settlers had fired live bullets towards Palestinians before the eyes of the soldiers who were present during the incident and who had done nothing. The attack resulted in wounding a Palestinian youth (24 years) with a live bullet in his head, in addition to five others who were not seriously injured.
