NABLUS, (PIC)-- Ahrar center for prisoner studies and human rights appealed to international human rights organizations to necessarily intervene to get administrative prisoner Adnan Asfour released.

Director of the center Fouad Al-Khafsh said that prisoner Asfour has been in the Negev jail since March 19, 2003 and is one of the long-time prisoners in administrative detention.

Adnan Asfour's administrative detention extended for 9th time

Khafsh added that Asfour was one of the prisoners who went on open hunger strikers for many long days and later agreed on an Israeli offer to end their strike on condition that the prison authority should not extend the administrative detention of prisoners among other demands.

The center director affirmed that the Israeli jailers extended the administrative detention of prisoner Asfour for nine consecutive times without any regard for his poor health status.

The family of Asfour also called on human rights organizations to intervene to release its relative who are in prison without any guilt or legal charge.
