ACI Asia-Pacific recorded 6.7% increase in passenger traffic in February 2013
[April 12, 2013 – Hong Kong] Passenger traffic in the Asia-Pacific region continued its modest upward trend in February 2013, according to the latest ACI Passenger and Freight Flash Reports. A year-on-year increase of +6.7% and +9.3% were recorded at airports in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East respectively when compared to February 2012.
This high percentage was partly due to the Chinese New Year effect as the national holidays fell in the month of February this year but in January in 2012.
