Australia Ready to Send One Hercules to Indonesia
Ministry of Defence to continue the process of grant four Hercules C130 aircrafts from Australia. The ministry said the Australian side is currently working on the repair and rejuvenation of the transport aircrafts.
The Ministry said one of the Hercules aircraft has been repaired and ready to be sent to the country. "At least one aircraft will come in the near future," said Defense Facilities Agency chief, Rear Admiral Rachmad Lubis, told Tempo, Tuesday, June 4, 2013.
Rachmad continues, repaired four aircraft Lockheed Martin reach Indonesia amounteedd to U.S. $ 63 million or around Rp 620 billion. The remaining three Hercules aircrafts will be delivered later by the Australian government early next year.
