Interior Ministry Mourns Fist "Martyr of Siege"

The Gaza Interior Ministry mourns today Tuesday the martyr First-Lieutenant Abdel Jawwad Abo Sa'ada ,40, who died because of closure of Rafah Border Crossing between Gaza Strip and Egypt by Egyptian Military.

The victim has been suffering from serious cardiac disease for nine years, and needed a device to regulate his heartbeat. He was supposed to travel to Jordan to get this device, however, he was forbidden by Egyptian officials from leaving the Gaza Strip via Rafah Border Crossing. He then had a heart attack, and died.

Hundreds of Palestinian patients have died because of the siege imposed by the Israeli Occupation on the Gaza Strip and its crossings since 2007.
