Global Day Of Solidarity

As France gets ready to host the upcoming Olympic Games with the theme "Games Wide Open," groups and individuals worldwide are organizing events to stand in solidarity with the people of Kanaky as apart of the Callout made by Kanaky Aotearoa Solidarity Group.

We would like to acknowledge and express appreciation to those from the following cities and countries who have answered the call to stand in love and solidarity with Kanaky;

  • Meanjin (Brisbane)
  • Naarm (Melbourne)
  • Tamaki(Auckland)
  • Kirikiriroa(Hamilton)
  • Poneke(Wellington)
  • Otautahi (Christchurch)
  • Otepoti(Dunedin)
  • Marshall Islands
  • Guåhan
  • London
  • Dublin

This global day of solidarity aims to highlight the glaring irony of France promoting openness and inclusivity while they deny Kanak people the right to self-determination.

Now is the time to amplify the voices of the Kanak people and demand justice. We must expose the hypocrisy of celebrating openness and inclusivity while perpetuating colonial rule and systemic violence.

Our struggles are interconnected, and so is our liberation. Let us not be swayed by empty slogans but instead strive for real change and true solidarity with the people of Kanaky.

Join us on the Global Day of Solidarity for Kanaky and stand with us in demanding justice, equality, and true autonomy for the Kanak people.
