A decision is imminent on the political future of a former Cabinet minister in Fiji, who appeared in a private video dancing naked.
The People's Alliance Party will decide this week whether to expel Lynda Tabuya, who remains a member of parliament.
The ruling party's general secretary Sila Balawa told RNZ Pacific that a report from the legal and disciplinary committee is being considered by the executive committee, which will decide on the MP's fate.
Balawa declined to comment on the disciplinary committee's findings.
The explicit clip went viral and prompted Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka to remove Tabuya from his Cabinet on 26 December, saying it was in the people's best interest.
Tabuya has said she made the video for her ex-husband, Robert Semann, and that it had been hacked from her stolen phone.
The former minister for women, children and social protection lodged a complaint with the police cybercrime unit, saying she was the victim of vicious cyberbullying.
Assistant Commimssioner of Police (Crime), Mesake Waqa, said the police investigation was ongoing.
"The cybercrime team are tracing the digital trail of the video before it was leaked to social media."
A veteran political activist claimed the video was leaked by someone in the coalition government close to Rabuka.
Fiji Womens Crises Centre coordinator Shamima Ali believed the government wanted to remove Tabuya because she was highly popular and a threat to Rabuka's leadership.
